At Regions, the Project Manager position is responsible for independently managing medium ($500K - $999K) scale projects of in conjunction to providing support for other project managers on larger, complex cross functional projects. Partners with lines of business (LOB) and functional project managers and project teams supporting and executing the full project lifecycle to achieve specific business outcomes.
Demonstrates, through application, an understanding of the project management process to assigned roles and tasks
Develops and manages overall project plans to ensure work is assigned and completed on time
Supports other project managers and associated delivery work on projects of varying scale
Works independently to draft project deliverables for review with Project Manager II/III
Application of the project management process, tools and templates to manage medium scale projects
Maintains ownership during all phases of a project to ensure projects are executed according to plans
Proactively solicits feedback from supervisor/manager prior to finalizing project related deliverables
Effectively partners with multi disciplinary teams across the organization to achieve desired project outcomes
Provides project and departmental status reporting
Successfully executes departmental tasks as assigned
This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related degree
Two years experience successful project management
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project)
Ability to approach assigned work with confidence and enthusiasm
Ability to manage time and multiple commitments/projects simultaneously
Excellent written/verbal communication, organizational and analytical skills
Experience and Certifications:
PMP certification is required
CSM certification is preferred
Experience working in a PMO
