Job Description:

At Regions, the Marketing Strategist acts as the primary marketing contact for business groups. Ensures implementation plans are place for programs and leads and development and management of major bank-wide promotional campaigns and targeted programs.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Understand business groups and its business objectives and acts as partner and advocate on business groups behalf

  • Represents Marketing by building usefulness, credibility and reliance on data driven marketing programs for business success

  • Articulates and advocates for program development needs and works with partners to ensure implementation and communication plans are in place for programs

  • Leads the management of major bank wide promotional campaigns and targeted programs

  • Develops and applies research/knowledge of competition around decisioning best practices to enhance overall performance of the program

  • Identifies customer sub-segments and targets for acquisition, increases wallet share and retention

  • Develop appropriate value proposition for the customer

  • Develop annual marketing plan and generate interim plans as needed

  • Set well defined goals and thresholds for programs and testing

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in a related field

  • Five years banking and marketing experience
