At Regions, our Compliance Specialist ensures operations adhere to the established laws regulating the business segment.
Reviews department procedures to ensure compliance of all department regulations
Updates procedures and train associates on changes to processes
May coordinate with Compliance and Internal Audit during department exams
Prepares department specific training material regarding department regulation and conducts training classes with associates
Coordinates all regulatory and compliance documents for a business unit
Compiles information and updates business unit of changes in process
This position requires the tracking of time and is eligible for overtime for hours worked in excess of 40 per week under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
High school diploma or GED
Five years compliance experience
Ability to learn regulations impacting a specific line of business
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to problem solve with strong emphasis on detail and accuracy
Excellent organization skills, good analytical and math skills
Ability to work effectively with various levels of management
3-5 years Loan Operations experience
Level III/AFS system experience
ACLS system experience
Some college experience (Finance/Business)
